Moscow banker's brothers lost in Chechnya not found yet

The search of Arsamakov brothers who disappeared a month ago in the mountainous Shatoi District of Chechnya together with their driver has brought no results so far.

This news has been reported today morning by a source in the law enforcement bodies of Chechnya. In his words, workers of different agencies are involved into the search, but the attempts to clear out the fate of the Arsamakovs and Magomadov are still a failure.

"Activities to search Yunus and Yusup Arsamakov and their driver Khamzat Magomadov continue since February 8, from the very day, when their disappearance had become known. One of the main versions of the incident is kidnapping with the aim to demand ransom. It cannot be excluded that some of them (Arsamakovs or Magomadov) could have been killed, since their "Niva" car, which was then found thrown into an abyss in the vicinity of the village of Zony of the Shatoi District, had blood traces inside," an officer of the Chechen Interior Ministry said.
