Head of Ter-Petrosyan's election office beaten in the capital of Armenia

In Yerevan, head of the election office of Levon Ter-Petrosyan, who is running for presidency in Armenia, was beaten.

The incident took place in the Yerevan community of Kanaker-Zeitun. The members of the election office inform that a group of 25-30 persons rushed into the office room of Krist Gasparyan, son of the late leader of the Democratic Way Party Manuk Gasparyan, and severely beat him.

Krist Gasparyan was taken to hospital with a craniocerebral trauma. The eyewitnesses of the incident have reported that the attackers were commanded by Ashot Arsenyan, owner of a mineral water factory, also known as "Klos" in the criminal community.

The "Gazeta.Ru" reports from Yerevan that so far the law enforcement bodies of Armenia refrain from any comments of the incident.
