Navalny supporter from Volgograd complains about propagandists' provocation
In memory of politician, Alexei Navalny, Vladimir Telpuk, an activist, has laid flowers at the monument to victims of political repressions in Volgograd. According to Vladimir, he was filmed by the hosts of a local TV channel, Sergey Mazanov and Roman Potolovsky, who asked him provocative questions.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the Volgograd residents, whose personal data was disclosed on the air of the "Volgograd-1" TV channel, had filed complaints with law enforcement bodies. Lawyers pointed to signs of criminal offenses in the actions of the journalists, who released the names and places of work of those townspeople who had come with flowers to the monument to victims of political repressions after Alexei Navalny's death.
According to Mr Telpuk, on June 4, in memory of Navalny, he went to lay flowers at the foot of the monument to victims of political repressions entitled "Going to Heaven". Mazanov and Potolovsky got out of a nearby car and began filming him.
"They started asking inappropriate questions: why I was there; to whom I was laying flowers, and whether any of my relatives perished on this day during the years of Stalin's repressions. They obviously provoked me to say something unnecessary to them into the camera," Vladimir has explained.
He has noted that he will carefully watch the programmes of the "Volgograd-1" TV channel. If his personal information appears again there, he will again contact law enforcement bodies with a demand to bring Mazanov and Potolovsky to criminal liability for disclosing personal data and denunciation. "They want to show us as people's enemies," Vladimir Telpuk was indignant.
