Resident of Kuban farm yard complains about being beaten by law enforcers

Watchman Fyodor Valko from the Prikubansky farm yard was detained on suspicion of stealing a conveyor belt at a factory. The man was beaten and accused of failure to obey legal requests of law enforcers. In addition to abrasions and bruises, Fyodor Valko was diagnosed with closed vertebral fracture.

41-year-old Fyodor Valko was hospitalized after being detained by law enforcers. The man works as a watchman at a factory that has been closed for a long time. A conveyor belt disappeared from the factory, and Fyodor Valko was suspected of the theft. The police came to his house, and law enforcers wanted to inspect the house and the barn, but Fyodor Valko and his wife did not let the policemen in, because they had no search warrant. Then Fyodor Valko voluntarily went with the law enforcers, the “Team Against Torture” (TaT)* in his Telegram channel.

According to the farmer, the law enforcers beat him until he lost consciousness. They beat him, including with a chair, and on the other morning, Fyodor Valko became ill, he was sick to his stomach. The man was taken to court and fined. After that, Fyodor Valko went to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with numerous abrasions, bruises, haemorrhage in his eye, and vertebral fracture.

Earlier, the “Caucasian Knot” has reported that Semyon Sukhinin, a resident of Anapa, complained about being beaten by law enforcers, but an investigator refused to institute a criminal case.

*The “Team against Torture” (formerly the “Committee against Torture” – CaT) was created by the lawyers who had earlier worked for the CaT, which was included into the register of the NCOs performing the functions of foreign agents.
