Accusations against Gadjiev* to settle conflict between Kadyrov and Kerimov
Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov and Senator Suleiman Kerimov found a way to end the story of the attempted assassination by attributing the authorship of the information to former Russian State Duma member Magomed Gadjiev*, Dagestani journalists suggested.
The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on October 9, when speaking about a conflict around the “Wildberries” Company, Ramzan Kadyrov mentioned Senator from Dagestan Suleiman Kerimov and State Duma members Bekkhan Barakhoev and Rizvan Kurbanov. The leader of Chechnya called them on to prove their non-involvement in the order for his assassination and warned them of his readiness to declare a blood feud. On November 20, the RIA “Novosti” news agency released a video in which two men named former State Duma member from Dagestan Magomed Gadjiev* as the author of the version about the assassination attempt on Ramzan Kadyrov. They reported that Magomed Gadjiev* promised them a large reward.
Abdul Mamadibirov and Murad Goshdadov are not particularly well-known in the republic, journalist Milrad Fatullaev points out. According to his version, the amount of 5 million US dollars they mentioned as a remuneration for disseminating information was a large amount for Magomed Gadjiev*.
The Dagestani journalist also believes that the announced amount raises doubts.
According to the journalist’s version, the video looks more like the result of negotiations between Ramzan Kadyrov, Suleiman Kerimov, and Rizvan Kurbanov, allowing everyone to get out of the story gracefully by blaming foreign agent Magomed Gadjiev* for everything.
“The amount raises doubts, because such an information service costs more. After all, having received such an amount and having voiced such information, knowingly, according to them, false, but threatening showdowns and mutual murders, the person should be able to escape so far away to get an opportunity to live and spend the money without fear,” the journalist emphasized.
