Four suspected militants killed on Ingush-Chechen border

In the forest between the villages of Chemulga (Ingushetia) and Achkhoy-Martan (Chechnya), today in the course of a special operation conducted by the MIAs of these two republics, four suspected militants were liquidated.

The "Echo Moskvy" Radio has reported that today in the morning a group of militants was blocked in the vicinity of the border. According to the Ingush MIA, in the course of a skirmish four militants were killed, while the rest of the group managed to escape; their exact number is unknown.

According to the same source in the Ingush MIA, among those liquidated is a younger brother of Rustaman Makhauri, detained these days near the Ingush-Chechen administrative border - Azamat. Rustaman was the minister of defence of the self-proclaimed Ichkeria and a close ally of Ali Taziev, one of the leaders of the rebels' underground movement, also known as "Magash". This was reported by the ITAR-TASS Agency.
