Number of terror act victims in Chechnya reached four

As reported by the Investigatory Committee at the Prosecutor's Office (ICPO) of Russia, a result of the explosion near the building of the MIA of Chechnya in Grozny, four persons were lost and at least five wounded.

"As a result of the explosion, four persons, including two militiamen - Aslan Bataev and Ruslan Shidaev, the man who blew himself up and the car driver were killed. At least five person from among civilians and law enforcers received fragmental wounds of various gravity," the ICPO reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that it was the first terror act committed by a suicide bomber after cancellation of the counterterrorist operation (CTO) in Chechnya. The law enforcement bodies have reported that the explosive of about 3 kilos in trotyl equivalent was triggered at about 11:00 a.m. Moscow time by two suicide bombers near the entrance to the Ministry. The terrorists died in situ.

In the place of the incident, a driver's license was found, issued to a man born in 1933. Presumably, it could be stolen from someone, since, according to witnesses, terrorists did not look elderly, as the "Interfax" reports.
