In Armenia, Kiviryan's relatives disagree with the article under which the case was initiated

A criminal case was initiated in Armenia on the fact of the attack on Argishti Kiviryan, manager of the electronic edition "Armenia Today". However, the journalist's relatives disagree with the article under which the case was opened.

The police consider this case under Article 117 of the Criminal Code of Armenia - "Deliberate causing of light physical injuries."

At the same time, lawyer Lusine Saakyan, Mr Kiviryan's wife, expressed her disagreement with the official version of law enforcers. According to her version, "it's absolutely clear that they wanted to kill Kiviryan."

The "Arminfo" Agency notes that the press service of the Armenian Police has not excluded that the article can be changed after the end of the forensic-medical examination.

Also, information appeared that in the place of the incident policemen did not find any shells, although they are clearly seen in the photos made by one of Armenian journalists, as the "Gazeta.Ru" writes.

No evidences were so far given by the victim, since Mr Kiviryan is in a grave condition.
