Ruslan Aushev's cousin heavily wounded in Ingushetia

In Ingushetia, Vakha Evloev, cousin of the ex-president of Ingushetia Ruslan Aushev, was heavily wounded. His car was shelled in the Surkhakhi village. Mr Evloev with gunshot wounds was delivered to the central hospital of Nazran in a critical condition.

"Vakha Evloev was brought to hospital at about 10:00 on Friday. The circumstances of the incidents, in which he received his wounds while are still unknown," a hospital employee said in a telephone conversation.

Vakha Evloev is now at surgery in the resuscitation department. According to the "Ingushetia.Ru" website, he received multiple gunshot wounds of different parts of his body. His Toyota Camry car was shelled from automatic fire-arms by unknown persons, when he was leaving his home.

Now in Ingushetia, the opposition is gathering signatures for return of the ex-head of the Republic Ruslan Aushev back to the post of the president. The organizers of the action believe that Aushev is the only person able to cope with the unstable situation in the Republic.
