Homes of Chechen natives searched in relation to blowing up the "Neva-Express" train

On September 21, under the criminal case of blowing up the "Neva-Express" train, members of law enforcement bodies conducted searches of several houses of the Chechen natives who live in the Chudovo District of the Novgorod Region.

"...They motivated their actions by allegedly reliable information about someone's involvement in the crime, however, so far nobody was detained on the results of the searches," said Murad Yunusov, advocate of Khasan Didigov, earlier suspected of blowing up the "Neva-Express" train, as quoted by the IA "Interfax."

Didigov's defender has emphasized that "nothing takes place" in relation to his client in the train blow-up case. "In general, the criminal case in relation to Mr Didigov should have been stopped automatically, but we know nothing about it yet," Mr Yunusov said.

According to the lawyer, on the week to come they should present charges to Didigov under another criminal case - on causing heavy health damage and robbery with violence.
