The parents of the children who suffered at the outbreak of dysentery in the Georgievskiy District of the Stavropol Territory are extremely indignant at what has happened.

The "Caucasian Knot" has informed that on September 2 the Stavropol Branch of the All-Russian Ecological Organization (AREO) "Podorozhnik" (Plantain) held a non-authorized picket near the building of the Russian Committee for Supervision of Consumer Goods ("Rospotrebnadzor") for the Stavropol Territory with a demand to dismiss Nikolai Kovalev, head of the "Rospotrebnadzor" for the Stavropol Territory.

"We are extremely indignant at the fact that only 2 weeks ago a dysentery outbreak in children happened in the Blagodarnenskiy District of the Territory, and here again 210 children are sick! Regrettably, none of the officials came out to talk to us," Vladimir Poluboyarenko, Chairman of the Stavropol Territorial Branch of the AREO "Podorozhnik," said to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

Because of mass poisoning of kindergarten children the state of emergency was introduced in the Georgievskiy District of the Stavropol Territory. On the fact of food poisoning of the children from Kindergarten No. 15 of the Alexandriyskaya village of the Stavropol Territory, a criminal case was initiated. All of them were drinking the kefir product "Slavyanovskiy" made by the milk-processing enterprises of the LLC (Limited Liability Company) "Viliya" of the city of Georgievsk. The work of the enterprise that has become the cause of poisoning of kindergarten children is suspended.
