Local residents assert that the casualty of shelling in Ingushetia on April 12 was alcohol trader
The reason of the attack on Abdullagun Aliev, 49, and his son Adam, 19, residents of Ekazhevo village of Nazran District, committed by unidentified persons on April 12 in their village could be their dealing with alcohol drinks, as local residents explained to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
The residents said that the father and the son were selling alcohol, but did it secretly, by carrying drinks to shops in their car. "Now, people fear to sell alcohol openly. This could be the reason of the attack, since they had no feud," said one of the villagers.
We remind you that according to the Republic's MIA, the VAZ-2106 car with Alievs inside was shelled by unidentified persons, from another car model VAZ-2110 of silvery colour at about 10 p.m. As a result of the attack, Abdullagun Aliev died in situ, and his son was wounded.
Meanwhile, Magomed Mutsolgov, an Ingush human rights activist and a member of the Expert Board of Russian Ombudsman, believes that the attackers on the Alievs could be considered only after they are actually identified by the investigation and the court.
"The Republic has nothing worth surprising already. In the last 7 years about a thousand persons were killed, but most of the cases remain unopened and criminals unknown. But every new murder means new widows and orphans," Mr Mutsolgov has noted.
We remind you that in Ingushetia shops and booths trading in spirits are shelled rather often. According to local residents, the traders first receive threats to stop selling alcohol (usually, as leaflets thrown into the yard), and then unidentified persons attack the shop.
According to the data, now at disposal of the "Caucasian Knot", for the period after 2004 Ingushetia had 29 incidents connected with attacks, shelling, explosions and arsons of grocery shops and booths. Of them 16 were selling alcohol drinks.
