Four suspected militants detained in Dagestan

On December 26, in Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan, four suspected participants of illegal armed formations were detained.

"In the course of operative-search actions, in the household of a jobless woman, four residents of the Karabudakhkent District were detained. A Kalashnikov sub-machine gun, 19 pieces of 5.45 mm calibre cartridges, two 200-gram trotyl blocks, 50 grams of mouldable explosive and 3 meters of Bickford fuse were found on them," said a source from the law enforcement bodies.

According to the RIA "Novosti", the detention was performed by FSB agents and militiamen; a criminal case has been initiated.
