A drone brought down in South Ossetia
On August 27, a Georgian drone (pilotless aircraft) was shot down in its flight over the territory of South Ossetia by the forces of local MIA, Mikhail Mindzaev, head of the Republic's MIA, stated yesterday, on August 28, in a press conference in Tskhinvali.
We remind you that during conflict aggravation in South Ossetia three Georgian drones were shot down.
"On August 27, at 3:40 p.m. a drone was brought down by our forces," Mr Mindzaev told the "Interfax".
In its turn, the Georgian MIA treated the South Ossetia's message as disinformation, and a spokesman of the Ministry has noted that such statements pursue the aim to compromise Tbilisi and mislead the international community, Radio Liberty reports.
