Temryuk region's administration head prohibited ecologists from protesting against ammoniac terminal
A meeting of protest against the construction of the ammonia reloading terminal on the Taman peninsula was to take place on Central Square of the village of Taman at 10 a.m. on August 31. The meeting was organized by the Social and Ecological Union of the West Caucasus and public organizations of Taman.
However, it is unknown whether the organizers have managed to hold the meeting. They said that on August 30 they had learned that the head of the Temryuk region's administration Vasilevsky had given the order to ban the meeting. The regional administration did not officially inform the organizers of the meeting about it.
The organization committee reported that the organization of the meeting had been carried out in accordance with the norms of the federal law. Therefore, having discussed the information received, the meeting organization committee still decided to hold the meeting.
