General Prosecutor's Office of Armenia has established the persons who perished at disorders in Yerevan

The General Prosecutor's Office of Armenia has identified the personalities of all the eight victims in the clashes between supporters of Levon Ter-Petrosyan and the police and OMON on March 1 in Yerevan.

The "News-Armenia" Agency reports with reference to the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office that the list of casualties includes Gor Kloyan, Hamlet Tadevosyan, David Petrosyan, Zakar Ovannisyan, Tigran Khachatryan, Grigor Gevorkyan, Ovannes Ovannisyan and Armen Farmanyan.

Meanwhile, on March 2, Javier Solana, EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy, during his telephone conversation with the President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan expressed the EU's concern with the introduction of the state of emergency in Yerevan, the capital of the country.

Mr Solana's press service has reported, as referenced by the RIA "Novosti", that the High Representative has called "all the parties to express restraint in order to return the situation into the normal course of events." "The dialogue with the opposition should be renewed, since it is the only way forward," Javier Solana noted.

We remind you that according to earlier reports 59 persons who suffered in the clashes of supporters of Levon Ter-Petrosyan with the police and OMON are still at medical institutions of Yerevan.
