Georgian opposition tends to believe that Patarkatsishvili was killed
Representatives of Georgian oppositional parties agree that the murder version of Georgian businessman Badri Patarkatsishvili cannot be excluded.
Thus, Irina Sarishvili, leader of the "Imedi" Party, believes that Patarkatsishvili was killed and "certain circumstances speak in favour of this version."
"The Georgian authorities benefit from Patarkatsishvili's death, since apart from his political weight he had a huge financial power. Those in power feared his active participation in political life of Georgia.
His heart attack was deliberately provoked. Badri was taking care of his health, and his lifestyle from far from being bohemian. At the same time, it doesn't matter whether it was a murder or natural death: the reason is the same - it's political."
According to Nestan Kirtadze, a member of the Labour Party of Georgia, she has spoken to Shalva Natelashvili, and they think that the Party must make a statement that this was a murder accomplished directly by Mikhail Saakashvili:
"The murder instruments were both psychological methods and blackmail and slander. Typical tools used by Georgian authorities against their political opponents," Ms Kirtadze told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
