"Ingushetia.Ru": count of election absentees in the Republic already makes 36 percent
As of 4:00 p.m. on December 23, a total of 57,898 applications from residents of Ingushetia had been gathered who reject their participation in elections on December 2.
Thus, the share of the electorate who had failed to appear at the elections of deputies of Russian State Duma has reached 36 percent, the "Ingushetia.Ru" website reports.
We remind you that the action "I didn't vote!" has been held by the web portal since December 3. Several dozens of Ingushetia residents are visiting household after household of the Republic and ask all the citizens older than 18 whether they had taken part in the elections on December 2.
After all the applications have been gathered, the organizers of the action plan to send them to the General Prosecutor's Office for examination.
Magomed Evloev, former editor-in-chief and owner of "Ingushetia.Ru", has assumed that should the General Prosecutor's Office ignore the applications, the organizers can address the European Court for Human Rights.
Meanwhile, as the "Caucasian Knot" has already informed that Musa Evloev, Chairman of the Electoral Commission of Ingushetia, has treated as groundless the statements that the voter turnout at State Duma elections in the Republic on December 2 was below the officially announced level.
We remind you that according to the official data of the Electoral Commission of Ingushetia, over 98 percent of enlisted voters took part in the voting on December 2. Meanwhile, two weeks ago the owner of the website "Ingushetia.Ru" Magomed Evloev stated in his interview to the "Kommersant" newspaper that according to the data of the monitoring, held by the employees and readers of the website, only some 6-8 percent of the Ingushetia's population actually took part in the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation on December 2.
