In Chechnya power agents would not give out the body of murdered militant to his relatives

Relatives of the murdered militant Adam Askhabov cannot take away his body from employees of law enforcement bodies of Chechnya for burial.

"For three days already we try to take the body, but they wouldn't give it out," the victim's second cousin told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, having added, that the agents refer to the investigation.

Adam Askhabov, 24, a member of illegal armed formations, was detected by the workers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of the Chechen Republic on January 14 near the automobile marketplace. At an attempt of his detention, the militant rendered armed resistance, and in the skirmish he received gunshot wounds. Later, he died from them at City Hospital No 9.

At the place of the incident, militiamen found a pistol, three magazines thereto and a self-made grenade.

The MIA of Chechnya asserts that Askhabov, a resident of Sernovodsk village, Sunzha District, was involved in committing grave crimes in the territory of Grozny.
