In Azerbaijan journalists join Ganimat Zakhidov's hunger strike
More and more Azerbaijani journalists join the hunger strike of inmate Ganimat Zakhidov, editor-in-chief of the "Azadlyg" newspaper.
The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports that as of today the new participants of the action are Shakhvalad Chobanoglu, editor of the "Gyundelik Azerbaijan" newspaper, and Elshad Mamedli and Aiten Gasanova, correspondents of the "Eni Musavat" newspaper.
We remind you that Ganimat Zakhidov started his hunger strike on December 8 with a demand to stop pressure on the free press. Since Monday, December 10, his action was supported by the editor of the "Eni Musavat" newspaper Rauf Arifoglu.
