Azerbaijan categorically denies that the house collapsed because of explosion

Zakir Garalov, General Public Prosecutor of Azerbaijan, has stated today to journalists that the version of an explosion as the cause of the house collapse in Baku is inconsistent, since no traces of any explosives have been detected in examination of the materials of the collapsed newly-built construction.

At the same time, the conducted investigation only confirms the version that the erection of the building was executed with rough violations of safety norms and regulations, the Day.Az informs.

Meanwhile, according to the "Interfax," the number of victims of the crash of the multi-storey building in Baku has reached 16 persons. According to the Ministry of Emergencies of Azerbaijan, there are 12 casualties, and other 12 persons can still remain under the ruins.

The articles published in Azerbaijani newspapers mark that not only the builders who performed illegal construction are guilty of collapse of the building in Baku on August 28, but also the authorities who had sanctioned the construction. Besides, the tragedy could have become an act of some "latent terror," by means of which certain geopolitical forces are competing for the power over the country.

The builders have confessed themselves that during the construction no safety rules and technical standards have ever been observed: "We worked here and slept at night in the cellar of the same building." This is the way they usually treat slaves, the "Zerkalo" (Mirror) newspaper writes.
