Two suspects of blowing up the "Neva Express" detained

A source in the investigatory bodies of the region has reported today that two suspects of undermining the "Neva Express" train were detained in the Novgorod Region. "Two persons have been detained in the Malovisherskiy District; their involvement in the train undermining is currently checked," the source said as quoted by the RIA "Novosti."

In the interests of the investigation, the law enforcement bodies refuse to give any details about the arrested persons.

It has been already reported in the information of the "Caucasian Knot" that the investigation was studying three versions of the train explosion: involvement of right-wing radical nationalist forces, of extremist Islamic movements, or of criminal groupings.

The "Kommersant" writes that the State Office of Public Prosecutor has chosen the "Chechen trace" to be the main version. The militants' helpers are sought among the Novgorod Chechens. Also, in the course of investigation, representatives of various movements are still checked. Among them St-Petersburg anarchists are. Under unofficial data, two of them were detained.
