Calls to fight against Satanism result in dispersal of rap concert in Volgograd

After complaints made by the head of the centre for patriotic education, who has treated the performers' works as immoral and propaganda of Western values, law enforcers in Volgograd have broke up a concert of rap singers. Social network commentators have treated the law enforcers' actions as inappropriate and reminded everyone of the right to self-expression.

According to the rappers, AlexMerser and Inqueensition, at the start of their concert in Volgograd, law enforcers in masks and helmets swooped down and took the singers to the police station. As a result, the concert was disrupted.

According to the performers, Volgograd activists had earlier opposed their concert, the "Volgograd Online" outlet has written.

"I'm a musician; I have nothing to do with politics; I’m not a Nazi; I don' support Ukraine; I don' insult any religion ... I have relatives from Donetsk; and at one concert I went out with the republic's flag! For me, the insult is what I was accused of," the V1 outlet quotes one of the rappers, AlexMerser, as saying.

Vadim Filin, the founder of the NGO named "Lestvitsa Orthodox Family Centre" engaged in the revival and spiritual and moral development of family relations, had stated that the concert by AlexMerser and Inqueensition should be cancelled.
