Kadyrov announced Chechen fighters' readiness to guard Crimean Bridge

Chechen "Rosgvardiya" (Russian National Guard) fighters are ready to control the traffic and inspect vehicles on the Crimean Bridge, Ramzan Kadyrov has stated after a truck was blown up there and some bridge spans collapsed. However, Russian President Vladimir Putin has entrusted the bridge guarding to the agents of the Federal Security Service (known as FSB).

On October 8, the traffic on the Crimean Bridge was completely closed due to the truck explosion. The Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) reported that as a result of the explosion, seven tanks of a freight train caught fire; and two spans of the bridge had partially collapsed.

Chechen "Rosgvardiya" fighters are ready to advance to the Krasnodar Territory and Crimea to control the traffic on the Crimean Bridge and inspect vehicles, Kadyrov has stated, as the "Chechnya Today" portal reports.

Ramzan Kadyrov has doubted that a similar situation on the Crimean Bridge is possible, "since the enhanced security measures will be taken."
