Over 16,000 refugees from Donbass arrive in Rostov Region during last 24 hours
Over the past 24 hours, more than 16,000 refugees arrived in Russia from the territory of Donbass through checkpoints in the Rostov Region, the Frontier Department of the FSB has informed.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 15, over 14,500 refugees from Donbass crossed the border in the Rostov Region; and over 14,000 did it a day earlier.
"Over the past 24 hours, more than 16,000 citizens crossed the border to enter Russia through the checkpoints of the Rostov Region," the "Interfax" has quoted the press service of the regional branch of the FSB's Frontier Department.
As of April 15, the total number of those who has arrived in Russia from the territory of Ukraine and Donbass exceeded 800,000. "In total, over 808,000 people arrived in Russia, according to the data on April 15, including over 153,000 children," the law enforcement bodies have informed.
