On November 2-8, no victims of armed conflict in Northern Caucasus were registered
During the week of November 2-8, 2020, no events related to the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus were recorded; there were no casualties or wounded people. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.
Let us note here that this is the third week in a row when there are no reports about victims of the conflict and armed incidents. The latest incident to date took place on October 16 in the Nasyr-Kort district of Nazran in Ingushetia, where a shootout took place. In the course thereof, a VAZ-2106 car exploded; and a person in it, presumably, a militant, died. He turned out to be Yunus Vidzizhev, the owner of a chain of rent-free weapons, who was wanted in connection with the storage of combat weapons. Earlier Vidzizhev stated that law enforcers were unlawfully pursuing him, robbed his store and tried to kill him, staging a special operation. Vidzizhev was sure that law enforcers were trying to kill him again.
