In Azerbaijan, frontline villagers make dugouts to hide from shelling attacks

In Azerbaijani villages, no bomb shelters were equipped at a distance from the frontline, and therefore, local residents have to arrange dugout shelters by themselves. Villagers, whose houses have been destroyed in shelling attacks, move to their neighbours' and relatives' places.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the Armenian armed forces were shelling villages, towns, and cities in the Agdam and Aghjabadi Districts, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Azerbaijan reported.

On November 2, 52 missiles hit the Shikharkh village in the city of Terter, and the villages of Gazyan, Sakhlabad, and Gapanly in the Terter District, no one suffered, the administration of the Terter District reported.

In the period from September 27 to November 2, the Armenian armed forces launched more than 15,000 missiles to attack the Terter District. As a result, 17 people, including one woman and one child, were killed, while 54 others were injured.

Besides, 915 houses were damaged and 135 houses were destroyed.

In the village of Sakhlabad in the Terter District, 10 kilometres from the frontline, two missiles hit a house of local resident Khagani Gurbanov. "One missile did not blow up. Another hit right into the house and destroyed it. I was not at home, otherwise I would certainly be killed," Khagani Gurbanov said.

According to the local resident, the village is regularly subjected to shelling attacks, and many houses have been already completely or partially destroyed.
