Azerbaijan reports new shelling

Today, the positions of Azerbaijani troops deployed in three districts are shelled by artillery; at night the fire in the Karabakh conflict zone was delivered, among other weapons, from missile launchers, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the morning on October 26, a new agreement on a humanitarian truce in the Karabakh conflict zone entered into force, but already during the first hours after, the parties exchanged accusations of violating the truce. On October 30, the heads of Ministries of Foreign Affairs (MFAs) of Armenia and Azerbaijan agreed, at their meeting in Geneva, not to attack peaceful dwelling settlements.

At 6:00 a.m. local time, according to the statement of the Azerbaijani MoD, artillery shelling resumed of the territories of the Terter, Agdam and Agdjabedi Districts; the MoD's message was received today by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

Last night, the militaries of Nagorno-Karabakh shelled Azerbaijani positions, in particular, from artillery cannons and missile launchers, strikes were also inflicted on frontline settlements, the MoD has stated.
