Armenia and Azerbaijan make conflicting statements about control over Hadrut
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliev announced the control of the Azerbaijani troops over the city of Hadrut and eight villages in Nagorno-Karabakh. The Armenian side denies the statements of the Azerbaijani President and claims that the status of Hadrut has not changed.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 9, the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan arrived in Moscow to discuss a pause in the hostilities for the exchange of war prisoners and bodies of the killed soldiers.
In the region, the battles are going on in all directions, and the armed forces of Azerbaijan are strengthening their positions, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliev announces.
"Another absurd news from Ilham Aliev who stated they allegedly captured Hadrut is as far from the truth as the frightened Azerbaijani troops are far from Hadrut, that is, tens of kilometres," wrote on Facebook Vagram Pogosyan, the press secretary of the President of Nagorno-Karabakh.
