On September 21-27, no victims of armed conflict in Northern Caucasus were recorded
During the week from September 21 to September 27, 2020, no information was received about any victims of the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.
Special and counterterrorist operations
On September 25, during the Friday prayers, law enforcers conducted their regular raid near the "Tangim" Mosque in Makhachkala. Up to 50 policemen took part in the raid. Law enforcers acted according to the usual scheme: they stopped visitors leaving the territory of the mosque and copied their personal data. Sources from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan said that the law enforcers were just ensuring people's security in crowded places.
Let us remind you that the latest information about the victims of the conflict was received on August 26. On that day, in the village of Ali-Yurt, Nazran District of Ingushetia, law enforcers blocked a house in which, presumably, militants were hiding. After the shooting began, one of those in the house, according to law enforcers, detonated an explosive device and died. The second alleged militant managed to escape. None of the law enforcers and civilians suffered.
