NAC releases video of CTO in Ingush Ali-Yurt

The National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) has confirmed the killing of a suspected militant in the Nazran District of Ingushetia and released a video of the counterterrorist operation (CTO).

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, a source has reported about a special operation conducted by law enforcers in the village of Ali-Yurt, during which one of the suspected militants activated an explosive device and was killed in an explosion.

The NAC has confirmed that an armed man discovered by law enforcers in the forest near the Ali-Yurt village refused to surrender, activated an improvised explosive device (IED), and "was neutralized." No law enforcers or civilians were injured.

The CTO in the Ali-Yurt village has become the sixth special operation conducted in Ingushetia since the early 2020. Reports of the law enforcement bodies about the increased frequency of special operations in Ingushetia reflect the real situation, and the growth of the militant activity may be associated with the spread of the ideology of radicalism in Russia, Sergey Goncharov and Gennady Gudkov, veterans of the Russian secret services, suggest.
