Nagorno-Karabakh accuses Azerbaijan of 170 shelling attacks during a week

In the period starting from July 26, the Azerbaijani troops have fired about 1700 shots at the positions of the Defence Army, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Nagorno-Karabakh reported.

During the week from July 18 to 25, Azerbaijan more than 260 times violated the ceasefire regime on the line of contact with the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh, reported the Nagorno-Karabakh Defence Ministry as quoted by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. According to the Nagorno-Karabakh Defence Ministry, in total, the Azerbaijani troops fired about 2300 shots from small arms.

On July 12, the conflict intensified on the border in the Tovuz District of Azerbaijan and the Tavush Region of Armenia. According to the official information, in the period from July 12 to 27, six soldiers were killed from the Armenian side, while the Azerbaijani authorities reported 13 killed people. No new casualties have been reported since July 27.
