Chechen teachers claim being forced to take part in flash mob in support of Kadyrov

In Chechnya, school teachers were forced by an order of a top-ranking official to post comments on social networks in defence of Ramzan Kadyrov, who came under new sanctions imposed by the US Department of State, school teachers claimed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 20, the US State Department announced that sanctions were imposed against Ramzan Kadyrov in connection with human rights violations in Chechnya. The sanctions have also affected Kadyrov's wife Medni and his two daughters, Aishat and Khadizhat.

The authorities of Chechnya have initiated a flash mob in social networks in support of Ramzan Kadyrov.

In the Urus-Martan District, teachers got instructions from school principals to post comments on social networks in support of the leader of the republic, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has been told today by Luiza, a mathematics teacher from one of the Chechen schools.

"We all received a link to the post of the leader, under which we were supposed to write a comment in support of Ramzan Kadyrov. We are required to write as many comments as possible under the above post, and the sooner the better," the school teacher said.

The report of the teacher from Urus-Martan was confirmed by Yakha, the head teacher at a school in the Shali District. According to her, the school principal was instructed by a top-ranking official from the Chechen Ministry of Education and Science to collect comments in support of Ramzan Kadyrov.
