Bombings and terror acts
On April 27, two anti-tank mines were found in a basement of a residential building in Makhachkala. The house was cordoned off, and residents were evacuated. Combat engineers neutralized the mines by blowing them up at a firing ground.
Detentions
On April 27, an audio appeal to Ramzan Kadyrov was posted on Instagram. An author of the appeal requested the leader of Chechnya to help release of Magomed Khaikharoev, a resident of the village of Assinovskaya. The author introduced herself as the mother of the detainee. According to the woman, Magomed Khaikharoev was detained more than four months ago. He had been kept at a police station in Grozny for two months and then transferred to the city of Sernovodsk. It was reported that members of the Khaikharoev family were involved in armed conflicts with law enforcers.
