Azerbaijan announces shelling attack on its village in Karabakh conflict zone

The positions of the Azerbaijani troops in the village on the border with Armenia and in the Karabakh conflict zone were shelled 30 times within 24 hours, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Azerbaijan reported.

"Units of the armed forces of Armenia used large-calibre machine guns and sniper rifles and 30 times violated the ceasefire regime in various directions of the front within 24 hours," the Azerbaijani MoD reports on its official website. The Azerbaijani positions in the village of Zamanly and at nameless heights in the Gadabay District were shelled.

The fire came both from the side of Armenia and from the side of the territories considered by Azerbaijan as its occupied territories.
