Azerbaijan reports sniper shelling from Armenian side

During the past 24 hours, positions of the Azerbaijani Army on the border with Armenia and in the Karabakh conflict zone were shelled for 30 times, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 13, Azerbaijan claimed 27 ceasefire violations by the Armenian side. According to the Azerbaijani MoD, the shelling was delivered from large-calibre machine guns.

The shelling attacks were carried out both from Armenia and from territories that are under the control of the Nagorno-Karabakh authorities, the MoD has noted.
