During the week of December 23-29, 2019, no one fell victim to the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. No killed or wounded were reported. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.
Special and counterterrorist operations
On December 27, law enforcers held a raid near the "Tangim" Mosque in General Omarov Street in Makhachkala. The law enforcers' mobile checkpoints were arranged in four locations to control the main exits from the "Tangim" Mosque. The raid involved both law enforcers in uniform and in civilian clothes. The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan explained that at the "Tangim" Mosque, law enforcers enhanced security in places of mass accumulation of people. No one was detained or taken to a police station.
Kidnapping
Early in the morning on December 26, law enforcers broke into a private house in the village of Yandi in the Achkhoi-Martan District of Chechnya. The law enforcers refused to show their IDs or explain the reason for their actions, but seized Islam and Umar Djabrailov and took them away to some unknown destination. The Chechen MIA reports it has got no information about the detention of the Djabrailov brothers.

In September, five persons fell victim to the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus.
