Resident of Dagestan fined for keeping IS flag
The court has fined a resident of the Rutul District of Dagestan, at whose home law enforcers found a flag of the "Islamic State" (IS), a terrorist organization banned in Russia by he court, the FSB has informed.
The flag with IS symbols was found at a resident of the village of Kina, who was born in 1973, during a search of his home.
The court has reminded the man that for calls to extremism he can be punished with up to five years of imprisonment, the RIA "Dagestan" reports, referring to the Dagestani frontier branch of the Russian FSB (Federal Security Bureau).
Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" reported that in October 2018, the court fined a resident of Adygea, who was serving his term in a colony, for posting photos of the IS flag in a social network.
