"We are satisfied that the investigation has been resumed, and a new investigator will be in charge of the case. We will also seek disciplinary punishment for Investigator [...] and compensation for non-pecuniary damage for Yevgeny Bunin for the ineffective investigation into his complaints of torture," the press release quotes Roman Veretennikov, a lawyer of the Committee against Torture, as saying.
