Makhachkala townspeople support Gasanguseinov with solo pickets

Four residents of Makhachkala have joined the action held by Murtazali Gasanguseinov and Djambulat Gasanov, who demand to punish the law enforcers guilty for killing two shepherd brothers, Murtazali's sons.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that since November 14, the father of the slain shepherds has been holding his daily pickets demanding to fire and criminally prosecute the law enforcer, who, at the time of the murder, headed the Shamil ROVD (District Interior Division), and reported about the liquidation of two militants.

On August 23, 2016, Nabi and Gasangusein Gasanguseinov, 17-year-old and 19-year-old brothers, were killed during an operation conducted by law enforcers in the Shamil District of Dagestan.

On November 17, Murtazali Gasanguseinov, and an activist, Djambulat Gasanov, held a new series of solo pickets at the complex of buildings of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) and FSB (Federal Security Bureau) of Dagestan located in central Makhachkala. The townspeople, sympathizing with Gasanguseinov, came to the venue; some of them also took part in the picket. On November 17, a total of six persons took part in a series of solo pickets, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, who attended the action, has reported.

By means of their solo pickets, Messrs Gasanov and Gasanguseinov want to achieve access to the materials of the internal service check conducted against the above high-ranking law enforcer, as well as to get acquainted with the refusal to initiate a criminal case on an official forgery against him.
