Law enforcers release video of IS supporter's detention in Dagestan
The National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) released a video showing the detention of a 19-year-old suspected militant in Dagestan. The young man could be provoked by law enforcers themselves, users of social networks suggested.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 18, the NAC announced the detention in the Tarumovsky District of Dagestan of a supporter of the "Islamic State" (IS), a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation. According to the NAC, the young man was plotting a terror act in Dagestan against the law enforcement bodies and power agencies. To commit his plan, the young man came to a forest hiding and tried to pick up an improvised explosive device (IED) of high power from there.
Judging by the video posted on the YouTube channel of the RIA "Dagestan", law enforcers were watching the suspect's movements and filming him using a drone.
Many users of the Dagestani communities on Instagram and YouTube channels expressed their distrust of the official version released by the law enforcement bodies. According to the users of the social networks, law enforcers could provoke the young man to come to the forest hiding or they could film a staged video.
