Chechen residents publicly apologize for talking about money for mosque in Shali

Adam and Magomed Ismailov, who wrote in social networks that the mosque in Shali was built with "illegal money," apologized for their posts on air of the Chechen TV Channel.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 23, in Shali, the "Pride of Muslims" Mosque was solemnly opened. It is designed for 30,000 believers. The mosque in Shali was built with money allocated by the Akhmat Kadyrov Foundation, the TASS reported on August 23.

Cousins Adam and Magomed Ismailov wrote in social networks that "illegal money" was used during the construction of the "Pride of Muslims" Mosque.

On September 10, the Chechen TV Channel posted on its YouTube channel a six-minute story from the Shali administration hall, entitled "How uncontrolled spending time on the Internet can lead to trouble?" The story shows how in the presence of many people sitting at the tables, the young people were reproached by Zamid Chalaev, the commander of the Akhmat Kadyrov police regiment, and Lema Khashuev, the Qadi of the Shali District.

Lema Khashuev, the Qadi of the Shali District "wonders how, while listening to absurd lectures posted by unauthorized preachers on the Internet, people can slander the mosque which stores hairs from the beard and the head of the Prophet Muhammad." The Qadi called on the young people to "sincerely repent," reports the story prepared by the Chechen TV.

"Adam and Magomed Ismailov admitted that they were extremely wrong. The guys pledged from now on not to listen to Internet preachers and not to mislead young people," authors of the TV story report.
