During the week of September 2-8, 2019, no one fell victim to the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.
Law enforcers conduct raid near "Tangim" Mosque in Makhachkala
On September 6, in Makhachkala, 40 law enforcers conducted a new raid near the "Tangim" Mosque. The law enforcers' checkpoints were arranged in three places, including at the exit from the mosque on both sides of Omarov Street and also at the exit from the mosque on Gagarin Street. The law enforcers checked cars and drivers and wrote down their personal data, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reported from the place of the law enforcers' raid.
One of the law enforcers who took part in the raid explained that they were engaged in identifying those persons who evaded child support and were on the wanted list. At the place of the raid, there were law enforcers from three ROVDs (District Interior Divisions) at once. Earlier, such raids involved law enforcers from a single ROVD only. No one was detained, journalist Idris Yusupov reported.
