Computer game about war in the Caucasus causes claims of Ingush authorities
The Ministry of National Policy of Ingushetia has called on the power structures of its country to hold the authors of the computer game about the fight of Ossetian-Ingush troops accountable for inciting interethnic hatred. The author has objected that the idea of the game is not related to the Ossetian-Ingush conflict.
The claims were triggered by the video "Ambush near Karts Reign of Caucasus – Modern Warfare".
The position of the above Ingush ministry was supported by Beslan Tsechoev, the Mayor of Magas.
"In this game, I see overt incitement of interethnic hatred," Mr Tsechoev wrote in his page on the Instagram.
The game author introduced himself as Yuri Gariev. According to his version, the idea of the game is connected with the fact that "the history of the Caucasus is very diverse and interesting."
