During the week of July 8-14, 2019, no one fell victim to the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

In Chechnya, after attacks on law enforcers on June 23 in Grozny and July 1 in the Achkhoi-Martan District, armed people in civilian clothes carry out raids, and cars with drivers and passengers wearing beards typical for Salafi people are being subjected to detailed inspections. The spokesman for the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) confirmed that the security measures in Chechnya were enhanced after two attacks on law enforcers.

On July 12, two persons were detained for possession of guns in the village of Pokrovskoe in the Khasavyurt District of Dagestan. Law enforcers searched a house of one of the detainees, a 25-year-old local resident, and found a gas pistol, converted to the firing of live ammunition, four rounds, and a grenade. Another 25-year-old resident of the same village was detained as an accomplice in the commission of the above crime, the spokesman for the Dagestani MIA reported.
