Ingush activist Ismail Nalgiev denies using force to policemen

Ismail Nalgiev denies his guilt and refuses to testify, his advocate, Andrei Sabinin, has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 8, the court arrested Nalgiev in absentia for two months. His advocate appealed against the judgement.

According to Andrei Sabinin, Nalgiev has no complaints about his state of health and the custody conditions in Nalchik.

Let us remind you that Ismail Nalgiev, the coordinator of the organization "Choice of Ingushetia", was detained on May 8 at the Minsk Airport, from where he had planned to fly to the Czech Republic. The trial in Minsk did not take place, because Belarusian authorities decided to extradite him to Russia. On May 11, Nalgiev was brought to Nalchik.

Like a number of other activists, Nalgiev is accused of assaulting law enforcers during a rally in Magas on March 27. On that day, law enforcers tried to disperse the protesters, since the action was sanctioned for March 26 only.
