Azerbaijan registers 25 shelling attacks in conflict zone

The truce in the Karabakh conflict zone was broken, and fire came from the side of Nagorno-Karabakh, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for Azerbaijan has reported today.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 22, Azerbaijan registered 23 shelling attacks on its positions.

The ceasefire regime in the conflict zone was violated 25 times, the Azerbaijani MoD reports on its website today. The fire came from the side "near occupied villages" in the Terter, Agdam, and Djebrail Districts, as well as from positions at unnamed heights in the Goranboy, Terter, and Agdam Districts, the Azerbaijani MoD reports.

As of 9:40 a.m. Moscow time on today, the Ministries of Defence for Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh have not posted on their websites any comments concerning the claim of shelling attacks voiced by the Azerbaijani MoD.
