Azerbaijan reports shelling of five border villages
During the last 24 hours, positions of Azerbaijani militaries were shelled for 20 times by Nagorno-Karabakh and Armenia, the country's Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reported today.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 27-28, Azerbaijan counted 24 shelling attacks on its positions.
During 24 hours of January 28-29, the truce regime was violated for 20 times, the Azerbaijani MoD has reported on its website today. From the territory of Armenia, Azerbaijani positions stationed in the villages of Kemerli and Mezem in the Gazakh District and in the villages of Gadjally, Kokhanebi and Agbulag in the Tovuz District, were shelled; fire was also delivered from the positions "near the occupied villages" in the Terter, Agdam and Fizuli Districts, as well as in the nameless heights in the Goranboy, Terter and Agdam Districts, the MoD has stated.
As of 9:30 a.m. Moscow time today, the websites of the MoDs of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh placed no comments regarding the above statement of the Azerbaijani MoD.
