Azerbaijan counts 25 shelling attacks during 24 hours

Positions of the Azerbaijani Army were shelled at in the Karabakh conflict zone, including in the border village of Geyali, the country's Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reported today.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 20, Azerbaijan declared shelling of its positions in a village. In total, the MoD counted 29 violations of the ceasefire regime during the past 24 hours.

On December 20-21, Azerbaijan recorded 25 attacks. "The positions of the Azerbaijani Army in the village of Geyali and on nameless heights in the territory of the Gadabay District were shelled," the website of the Azerbaijani MoD has reported today.

According to the MoD, the shelling was carried out, among other places, from the territories near the villages that Azerbaijan considers as its occupied ones.

Today, by 9:00 a.m. Moscow time, the websites of the MoDs of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh post no information about Azerbaijan's statement about the shelling attacks .
