Azerbaijan claims two villages shelled in conflict zone

During the last 24 hours, positions of the Azerbaijani Army in the Karabakh conflict zone were shelled for 23 times, the country's Ministry of Defence (MoD) has stated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 12, Azerbaijan fixed shelling in the region bordering on Armenia. In total, the MoD counted 28 shelling attacks committed then within 24 hours.

"Units of the Armenian Armed Forces, by using large-calibre machine guns, violated the cease-fire for 23 times during 24 hours," the website of the Azerbaijani MoD has reported, specifying that the positions of the Azerbaijani Army stationed in the village of Agdam, Tovuz District, and in the village of Geyali, Gadabay District, were subjected to shelling.
